WHO WE ARE

The EssBee Foundation is a non-profit founded by Shenai Bridglall in June 2016 to promote Shenai's vision of gender equality in South Africa. Since inception, the foundation has grown to operate nationally with over 50 volunteers contributing to build a gender-equal South Africa.

WHAT WE DO

The EssBee Foundation believe that the gender inequality gap in South Africa can be significantly reduced via our four initiatives outlined below.

#PROJECTDIMDU

We distribute interactive e-readers to foundation phase learners, predominantly girls, to help them improve their numeracy and literacy early in their life; hence, enabling them to improve their grades later in their schooling career.
